General Anesthesia and Intravenous Sedation

If you suffer from a strong fear of the dentist, have a pronounced gag reflex or simply want to undergo treatment without stress and pain, intravenous analgosedation is the right choice for you. In this method, the anesthesiologist will inject a sedative and analgesic medication into the vein to induce a sleep-like state. During the procedure, you do not feel pain, you do not perceive the progress of the treatment, and you usually do not remember anything when you wake up. Reflexes are suppressed, allowing for a smooth treatment even in sensitive patients.

The procedure is followed by a short awakening (about 30 minutes) and then you and your companion can go home. Analgosedation is safe, gentle and suitable for repeated procedures.

For more challenging cases, such as young children, patients with disabilities or severe stomatophobia, we also offer general anaesthesia. This induces a controlled loss of consciousness and complete anaesthesia – the patient is asleep and does not perceive the procedure at all. The procedure is performed by an experienced anaesthetist in a safe environment with the highest standards of care.
