Wisdom tooth extraction

Wisdom teeth, known as figure eights, often cause problems in the mouth. They don’t always have enough room in the jaw for proper growth, can remain partially or completely unerupted, grow at the wrong angle and press on surrounding teeth. The result is often pain, inflammation, swelling, decay on adjacent teeth or repeated hygiene problems in the back of the mouth. In such cases, a figure of eight extraction is the best solution.

The extraction itself takes place under local anaesthesia and is completely painless. In the case of more complex or retinate ossicles, we perform surgical removal. After the procedure, the patient receives clear instructions for home care, recommendations on diet and hygiene and, if necessary, appropriate analgesics for comfortable healing.
